What are my options if I'm arrested?
- You can be released on your own recognizance.

What information do I need before calling Joe Ray Bonding?
- Where is the person in Custody? (ex: city, state, and name of Jail)
- What is the full name of the person in Jail?
- What is the Booking number? (If you do not have this information, we can obtain it later)
- What is the Bail amount? (This information will help calculate the cost of the bond to get them out.)
How do I get bonded?
- You can use bondsmen, this mean that you will pay a fee.
- You can post cash for the full amount of the bond with the jail.
- You can use real property with the court.
- The judge can decide to let the defendant go on their own recognizance.
How long will it take?
- Each case is different, a general time frame is all we can offer:
- Specific time durations will depend on work load at the individual jail at that given time.
What is a co-signer?
- A co-signer is a equally liable person for the full value of the bond and may also be required to provide some type of collateral or security.
What is the responsibility of a co-signer?
If the defendant fails to appear:
- The co-signer is responsible to pay the bail bonding agent the amount of the bond and any reasonable recovery cost incurred.
- If the defendant is found, the co-signer is responsible for whatever fees are incurred to apprehend the defendant as agreed to at the time the bond was negotiated.
- If the defendant cannot be located and the court orders the bonding agent to pay the amount of the bond to the court, the co-signer is responsible for the payment of such money to satisfy the court.

Joe Ray Bonding accepts the following forms of payment:

What happens if i miss my court date?
- Missing your court date is something you do not want to do. Doing so will result in the court issuing a warrant for your arrest.
- Joe Ray Bonding has assured the court that you will appear and will incur the costs of the full bond posted by the court should you not appear.
What if I'm arrested again while out on bond?
- The main thing to remember here is Communication. Give us a call and we'll do our best. All cases are different and circumstances extenuating.
Can I leave the state while out on bond?
- If the court has instructed you not to leave the state while released on bond, you must first get permission from the court and then from Joe Ray Bonding in writing.
- If the court has given no instructions regarding leaving the state while on bond, you must still have permission from the bonding company.
- Failure to comply with these requirements could result in your bond being revoked.
What if the charges are dropped?
- If the court has accepted the bond, fees paid to the bonding agent or fees paid for the service are non-refundable.
